Wood box with transducer for a wide spread wooden sound
story
With a transducer we can turn a guitar into a loudspeaker
We apply different frequency ranges on different axes
Sound propagation resample a planar wave
Wooden loudspeakers with wood transduction
We started using a transducer inside a guitar and using it as a loudspeaker
We started building a box trying different types of transducers and membrane loudspeakers
The transducer sits on the horizontal axes while the speakers sit on the vertical axes. The vibration between parts is distributed via a sound post.
Tweeters are incorporated into a bamboo tubes. One is covered with a tunable skin.
The wooder is built to respect violin physics, the high range microphone is is routed to the upper speakers while the low range to the wood resonator.
We can build transducers from broken loudspeakers
A wooder can be a violin case
We can use larger transducer and thicker wood boards to change the frequency range
