When I had the chance I expanded a lot in learning new skills and in buying gears which could help me generate additional income. The professional career helped me to invest in upskilling. Now I feel I need to convert those passions into a more professional level where I can have some return of the investment.

Hobbies comes along with a passion for retail. I visit many physical stores and their products, I compare prices, ask questions and watch tons of reviews. I want to be able to judge the quality and utility of goods which helps me in many occasion to transfer these learning to devices I couldn't be judging otherwise.

it's hard to know whether a new release is worth buying. The difference between insta360 x3 and x5 are immense and I felt I needed to upgrade. In many other cases it was not necessary

I highly underestimated the effort of knowing what to buy. I often had to interrupt a work I was doing to run to a shop and buy what was missing and have less flexibility on the price. With proper planning I could buy in advance items which I thought they could be useful and which where indeed necessary later on. In that way I could save a lot in expenses. I bought as well items I could never use which I regret buying.
